How it is built

Can I buy one?
Not yet. It is a prototype on a desk. Join the waitlist and you will get one email when it can be reserved.
What does it actually do today?
We publish exactly what works in the journal, including what does not. The animated eyes on this site are a concept sketch of the planned behaviour, not footage of the device.
Will it need the internet?
The plan is that the face, clock and focus timer work with no connection at all. Anything that needs the internet will be optional.
Does it listen?
The design includes a microphone and a speaker, and the board also includes a camera. Nothing on this website collects data from any device. If a product launches, its data practices will be described on this site.
What happens to my email?
